Our Fire exhibit shows the history of the proud service that has protected the town and the more memorable fires to hit the town. It also includes the jewel of the Museum, the second oldest Fire Truck in North America.

The Communications exhibit shows North Sydney's Role in world communications, which was most important during the war when we were the main hub for the transatlantic cable to Europe.

You can learn about our towns leaders at the Politics exhibit and see the actual mantle of office traditionally worn by the Mayor before North Sydney became part of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality in 1995.
