Our Fire exhibit shows the history of the proud service that has protected the town and the more memorable fires to hit the town. It also includes the jewel of the Museum, the second oldest Fire Truck in North America.

You can learn about our towns leaders at the Politics exhibit and see the actual mantle of office traditionally worn by the Mayor before North Sydney became part of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality in 1995.

North Sydney is home to many people, and you will be able to learn about the cultures that came together in our community to make it what it is today as well as see how life was lived in the early days.
